– 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or skirt steak) – 1 tablespoon olive oil – 1 red bell pepper, sliced – 1 green bell pepper, sliced – 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced (optional) – 1 medium onion, sliced – 1 fajita seasoning packet – ½ cup water (optional) – Warm tortillas (flour or corn)

Gather Your Ingredients

Step 1: Slice your chicken (or steak) into thin strips against the grain. Step 2: Combine fajita seasoning with olive oil and water (if using) to create a marinade. Step 3: Let the chicken marinate for at least 15 minutes (or longer for deeper flavor).
